Supported files and limits
Files: PDF files up to 100 pages.
- Digital PDFs with real columns convert best. Scanned pages come out one line per row, with no column detection.
- Tables without clear column gaps may need tidying in the spreadsheet.
- Scanned pages are read in English.
Your files and privacy
Your file is processed in your browser, on your own device. It is not uploaded to PDFScanner's servers. PDFScanner counts basic usage, such as which tool was opened, but never sees what is inside your document.

- Numbers are written as numbers, so you can add them up and use them in formulas.
- Can it read scanned tables?
- It reads scanned pages with text recognition, one line per row. Column detection for scans is not available yet.
